Alumnae create fund supporting the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers at UGA
A group of alumnae recently joined forces to endow a fund in support of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers chapter at the University of Georgia School of Law.

Since its inception, the University of Georgia Veterans Legal Clinic has had dual goals. One is aiding former members of the military in accessing all of the benefits they are entitled to through the U.S.
During the 2023-24 academic year, 475 School of Law students enrolled or re-enrolled in one of the school's 18 clinic/externship programs and cumulatively engaged in over 84,000 service-learning hours.
The University of Georgia School of Law will participate in a free legal clinic to be held in Troup County on October 25. The law school’s Veterans Legal Clinic, Wilson Family Justice Clinic and the Public Interest Practicum will be available to assist local residents.

During its inaugural year of operation, the Land Conservation Clinic provided 3,200+ hours of service to 13 clients ranging from land trusts, state and national conservation organizations, and government agencies.
