Congratulations to third-year student M. Drake Jones on being named an inaugural Academic All-American Trial Advocate by the National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators. Jones is one of 20 students nationwide to receive the honor, which recognizes students who have exemplary success in courtroom advocacy competitions, model good leadership and fellowship within the law school community and excel academically.
Jones will also represent UGA at the upcoming Top Gun XVI National Mock Trial Competition, an elite, invitation-only tournament for law schools that have excelled at mock trial competitions during the past year.
