Robert G. Edge Distinguished Law Fellowship Fund -
The purpose of the Fund is to provide full-tuition scholarships, stipends and other professional development support to some of the most academically talented students at the University of Georgia School of Law. Recipients will be referred to as "Robert G. Edge Distinguished Law Fellows." The fund will be used to provide at least one Edge Distinguished Law Fellowship annually within the School for deserving students, as described herein:
Selection Criteria Preference will be given to those who demonstrate at least three of the following characteristics:
- Passion, excellence, or expertise in music, art, or performing arts
- Outstanding national or international recognition, such as Rhodes, Fulbright, Truman, or Marshall Scholarships
- Notable achievement outside the state of Georgia (national or international) - whether via work, study, scholarship, or fellowship
- Recognized as Foundation Fellow or other elite scholar at UGA or elsewhere
- Among the most elite students who are residents of the state of Georgia - demonstrated by graduating magna cum laude, summa cum laude, first honor graduate, or equivalent designations - or achieving 90th percentile or better on exam used to evaluate law school admissions
