Leap of Faith Fund by the Chastain Family - 

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for deserving students in the School of Law. Recipients shall be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Those identified during the admissions process or in the course of their law school careers who have touching, powerful, and inspirational stories - often in the face of great adversity or hardship.
  • Those who emphasize the value of faith, hard work, and determination in success.
  • Those who demonstrate great promise of achievement and potential impact for good.

The Fund may also be used for student support during challenging circumstances or unexpected hardships. 

Message to scholarship recipients from the Chastain Family:

"This Fund is a token of the faith that many people have in your bright future. Your dreams, talent, and unique gifts set you apart as an individual who is capable of achieving the unimaginable. May this Fund serve as an inspiration along your journey, so that you might pass along the same gift to others as you bear witness to the power of faith."
