Hightower Family Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) in the School of Law (“School”) who is a Georgia resident. All other factors being equal, preference shall be given to law students who meet one or more of the following criteria listed by priority: 

• First preference for students with disabilities, as defined by the University of Georgia’s (“University”) Equal Opportunity Office or any successor office responsible for ensuring equal education opportunity

• Second preference for students from West Georgia, particularly those from the counties of Carroll, Coweta, or Heard

• Third preference for first-generation college students

• Fourth preference for students with an undergraduate degree in business

Recipients shall be selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the School.
