Alex W. Smith Professorship in Law - 

The purpose of the Fund is to attract and hold an outstanding professor at the School of Law and that the income of this Professorship by providing supplemental salary support and requisite fringe benefits, research or teaching assistance needed, but not otherwise available to the Professorship; and to cover professional travel expenses, memberships, and other expenses that enhance the effectiveness of the Professorship beyond those ordinarily provided by the University. The Professorship shall pay for any expenditure in connection with the mission of the Professorship, including any costs related to outreach or service programs.
