The purpose of the Fund is to support educational diversity at the School, consistent with the School’s mission and admissions policy. The Fund will be used to establish one or more scholarships within the School for a deserving law student, as described herein. The scholarship will be limited to students who will contribute significantly to the diversity of the student body, including because they have demonstrated leadership in matters of concern to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ+) persons, because they have worked to build coalitions that advance the full equality and dignity of LGBTQ+ persons, and because they are able to describe how they plan to help advance LGBTQ+ persons’ full equality and dignity during their careers as lawyers. The scholarship shall be renewable each year until the recipient graduates, provided the recipient remains in good academic standing. The School may modify or disregard any selection criterion if determined in whole or in part to be contrary to law.
