Many people pine for a better life for their family. Others may be fleeing dangerous conditions. There are predators who prey on those dreams and that desperation. There are a number of staffing services that charge exorbitant prices for H2-A sponsorship. They force people to take out loans and put them into a form of indentured servitude. These people are forced to live and work in heinous conditions for little to no pay. Solimar Mercado-Spencer has devoted her life to this work. On March 22 during the lunch hour, she will be here to speak about this difficult work. To reserve a lunch please RSVP here: https://forms.gle/EL4TYXq2TMeJ6if19
