Paycheck Protection Program Pop-up Legal Clinic
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, or "CARES Act," signed into law on March 27, 2020, provides for $349 billion in Small Business Administration (SBA) loan guarantees and subsidies, and additional funding for SBA programs. One new SBA program created by the CARES Act is the Paycheck Protection Program (the "PPP"). The PPP has the potential to provide significant relief for small businesses, but that relief requires application to the program.
