This virtual panel will feature some of our faculty members as they discuss mental health and their experience dealing with mental health during their time in law school. This will be a guided discussion with an opportunity to ask our panelists questions if time permits. This conversation will be very candid, and we ask that you be respectful of the experiences shared by our panelists.

The American University School of Communication invites the School of Law student body to participate in a virtual panel honoring the life of Troy Davis on October 5 at 7:00 pm. Troy Davis was executed by the state of Georgia on September 21, 2011.

The panel includes:

o Robert Dunham, Executive Director of the Death Penalty Information Center

Associate Professor Fazal Khan will moderate and present a panel on "Public Health Law and the Response to COVID" as part of the State of the Public’s Health Conference at the University of Georgia.  

This panel will discuss careers in international law, and feature American lawyers who are practicing international law in various settings: private practice, in-house counsel, and governmental organizations.
