Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms' Office of Immigrant Affairs - Welcoming Atlanta will present an information session about its paid summer internship. The program will expose students to the following city government agencies: the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta Police Department, Public Safety Annex, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, Invest Atlanta, International Affairs, and other public-private partnerships.
The 2020 Distinguished Service Scroll Award Winners and the Young Alumni/Alumnae of Excellence Award will be presented at this event.

If you are interested in a career practicing business law in Georgia, you may have cases before the new Georgia Business Court. Join Judge Walt Davis and one of his law clerks to learn more about the court and opportunities to advance your career by working for the court, either as an extern during the school year or summer or as a post-grad law clerk for the court. Judge Davis will describe the jurisdiction and procedures of the court and talk about the kinds of cases and controversies that he is hearing since the court began operations on August 1 of this year.
Tony Waller, Director of Public Sector Career Advising, will host a prep session for students who are attending interviews and networking events at the Equal Justice Works Virtual Conference and Career Fair.

Interested law students are invited to learn from attorneys in juvenile justice practice. Practitioners including Special Assistant Attorney General, Guardian ad litem, and Court Appointed Special Advocate will share their experiences, information abou their work, and career advice for students interested in these career paths.
