Young Alumni Panel with the International Law Society

The Young Alumni Panel will help expose Georgia students to possible careers that utilize international law. We believe that as part of the law school’s mission to further students’ knowledge of international law, the Young Alumni Panel is an invaluable experience to help students understand how international law will factor into their career options.

CDC Office of General Counsel Externship Information Session

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is the nation's health protection agency, responsible for saving lives and protecting people from health, safety, and security threats. Heather Huntley, Senior Attorney with the HHS Office of the General Counsel - CDC Branch, will be a holding virtual information session for students interested in learning more about CDC, its legal office, and externship/internship opportunities with the agency.

U.S. Attorney’s Office - Northern District of Georgia, Externship Information Session

The Criminal and Civil Divisions of the United States Attorney's office allow third-year students to extern for two semesters in an organized program of litigation support under Georgia's Student Practice rule. Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah Klapman and current UGA Law externs will discuss Fall 2022 externship opportunities for rising 3L students. Rising 2L students are also encouraged to attend to plan ahead for a 3L year externship or a Summer 2023 internship.
