The American Psychological Association has found that mindfulness is especially effective for reducing stress, anxiety, and depression and that mindfulness can improve physical health. During Well-Being Week, join Heather Simmons, a certified mindfulness teacher, for a 20-minute introductory session, in which Heather will explain mindfulness, answer any questions, and take you through a brief mindfulness exercise. During this intro session, you can learn more about an upcoming 4-week mindfulness series that will walk you through mindful techniques, skills, and exercises ahead of fall semester exams.
