We are excited to join ACS student and lawyer chapters across Georgia for a panel that will examine barriers to registering to vote, navigating acceptance of ballots, and structural issues that prevent votes from translating into representation. The panelists will conclude with a discussion of on-going legal and advocacy efforts to secure the right to vote.

Join us for a conversation with Professor Ringhand on the nuts and bolts of election regulation. Many of the most contentious issues surrounding this year's presidential election involve basic election administration. Professor Ringhand will talk us through the basic laws undergirding voter registration, mail in and absentee voting, polling place operation, and the Electoral Count Act to help all of us become better consumers of news on election night.
