The Georgia Museum of Art and the UGA School of Law have partnered to bring you a special evening at the Georgia Museum of Art!

All law students, faculty, and staff are invited to sign up for a special tour highlighting pieces currently on exhibit, followed by free time to visit the rest of the collection. Tours will be offered on the following dates:

An Evening Discussion Regarding the Desegregation of UGA

In help commemorate the 60th anniversary of the University of Georgia's desegregation, this will be a discussion with UGA Professor Robert A. Pratt, the author of We Shall Not Be Moved: The Desegregation of the University of Georgia. Pratt has been a member of the UGA History Department faculty since 1987. He previously served as director of the university's Institute for African American Studies and as chair of the History Department.

Panel on AAPI Discrimination/Hate Crimes

In response to the horrific shootings that unfolded in Metro-Atlanta recently, ALSA is hosting a panel to discuss and explore the topics pertaining to AAPI discrimination and hate crimes. We have invited Professor Usha Rodrigues, Mr. Tim Lee (King and Spalding), Dean Gregory Roseboro, and Mrs. Joanne Molinaro (Foley & Lardner LLP) as panelist to share some of their insight and perspective.

2020 Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation Clinic Virtual Conference

The 2020 Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation Clinic Virtual Conference will be held in a webinar format. Topics will focus on the commercial and sexual exploitation of children, LGBTQ+ Youth in foster care and creative justice for survivors. The virtual conference's keynote lecture will be delivered by Director Tom C. Rawlings of the Georgia Division of Children and Family Services. Attorneys participating in the live webinar may earn up to 4 CLE credits.
