This conference will address three crucial questions of global health governance. It will consider, first, whether and how the ailing global public health infrastructure might be reinvigorated; second, how the pandemic has threatened and exposed limitations of the social safety net in the United States and other economies around the world; and, finally, the phenomenon of vaccine refusal and what national and international legal institutions might do to curb it.

Firm visits provide a unique opportunity for 1Ls & LLMs to visit Atlanta law firms, hear from their attorneys about the practice, and meet attorneys during a reception.

Transportation provided: buses depart from UGA approximately 2 hours before the start of the visit, and return to UGA afterwards.

To participate: watch your email for the questionnaire allowing you to preference your choices. Most students are selected for their top 2-3 choices.

Join the School of Law's Financial Literacy graduate assistant, Timi Jorgensen, for an online session aimed at reducing financial stress and improving your overall financial well-being. This session of the Financial Literacy Series will teach you how to build a financial therapy toolkit to keep money from messing with your life.

Law Librarians Carol Watson and Heather Simmons will present a Lunch n' Learn on Administrative Law topics such as guidance documents and formal regulations.

No reservation required! Pizza will be served, but please bring your own beverage.
