This event is a webinar introducing DOJ's Volunteer Legal Internship Program. Students will learn about summer and academic-year vacancies, the application process, and get answers to their questions. Students will have two chances to attend this webinar, either Tuesday, November 10, at 12:00 PM ET or Thursday, November 12, at 3:00 PM ET.

SBA Trivia Night

Virtual Trivia night hosted by SBA that will consist of six rounds of themed trivia, including a music round. The winning team will receive a gift card for each member.

This event is free for SBA members and only $5 for any non-SBA members. A team can be made up of both SBA and non-SBA members. Any non-SBA members will just need to Venmo $5 to @UGALawSBA by 1PM on January 21, 2021 or arrange another form of payment by emailing EllenAnn at ellen.curcio@uga.edu.

Beginning on March 3 and each following Wednesday at 9 a.m., Career Development and Advancement will host eight students and one attorney over zoom for small group networking over coffee, or a morning beverage of choice. The series, titled 9@9, is designed to create more intimate networking and learning sessions for students. Each session will be about 40 minutes: 30 minutes to hear from the Attorney and then about 10 minutes for questions.

This event is envisioned to be a more informal setting to interact with UGA Law alumni.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms' Office of Immigrant Affairs - Welcoming Atlanta will present an information session about its paid summer internship. The program will expose students to the following city government agencies: the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta Police Department, Public Safety Annex, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, Invest Atlanta, International Affairs, and other public-private partnerships.
