The purpose of this event is to give interested UGA Law students an opportunity to hear from established health law attorneys in different fields with diverse backgrounds about their day-to-day job responsibilities, how they got to where they are now, and any advice they have for aspiring health law attorneys.

Law & the Legislature

The Federalist Society is excited to host a panel discussion on "Law & the Legislature: Legislating from a Federalist Perspective." Three distinguished panelists, all Georgia State Representatives, one of whom serves as the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, have been invited to speak with UGA Law students. Come hear their perspective on a career in the Office of Legislative Counsel and what they look for in Legislative Aides. At the end of the panel, attendees will be able to interact with panelists in a question and answer period.

The Federalist Society is excited to host a panel discussion on "Advising Georgia's Governors: Executive Counsel to the Governor." Three distinguished panelists, all UGA Law alums, spanning two recent administrations, one of whom served as Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court have been invited to speak with UGA Law students. Come hear their perspective on a career in Georgia's Executive Branch and interact with them in a question and answer period at the end of the panel.
