Biographical Information
Brian K. Epps currently serves as a U.S. magistrate judge for the Southern District of Georgia.
Previously, Epps was a partner at Kilpatrick Stockton where he represented commercial policyholders in insurance coverage and indemnity disputes. He also worked as an associate at Hunter, Maclean, Exley & Dunn for two years and served as a judicial clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Richard W. Story of the Northern District of Georgia.
Epps earned both his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Georgia. During his time in law school, Epps served on the editorial board and as the notes editor for the Georgia Law Review.
