Anne Proffitt Dupre Scholarship -

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for students within the University of Georgia School of Law. This scholarship shall be awarded to one or more entering law school students each year, with a preference given to non-traditional students - determined based on two or more of the following factors: 

  1. full-time employment of at least two years prior to entering law school;
  2. an undergraduate degree from a four-year state college or university;
  3. a resident of the State of Georgia or Rhode Island; and
  4. a degree in or work experience in the field of education. 

Any student who is awarded this scholarship shall retain the scholarship until he or she graduates from the School, provided the recipient maintains at least an over 2.7 GPA while at the School. If a recipient fails to maintain the required minimum GPA, then his or her scholarship shall lapse.
