Mary D. Yost serves as outreach coordinator for the University of Georgia School of Law's Practicum in Animal Welfare Skills. She joined the law school in 2021, and she is in charge of community outreach and assists in training practicum students on animal cruelty prosecution.
Yost is also currently an associate in the real estate investment, finance and restructuring group at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Atlanta. Her work involves drafting loan documents and reviewing corporate governance documents, among other responsibilities.
She holds two magna cum laude bachelor's degrees from UGA, one in political science and the other in education. She earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the School of Law in 2018. While in law school, she served on the Georgia Law Review as online editor and as a member of the editorial board.
