Jenna Jackson joined the School of Law in 2015. She serves as the associate director of admissions and diversity programs. She plays an important role in the admissions process, reviewing applications, recruiting admitted students and developing targeted recruitment and marketing strategies. She acts as an institutional resource and champion for maintaining and improving diversity and inclusion and facilitates the innovation and implementation of support programs for diverse populations at the School of Law. She also represents the law school at various Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) forums and travels to speak at recruitment fairs and diversity, equity and inclusion panels.
Prior to joining the School of Law, Jackson worked as a recruiting and game day logistics consultant for the University of Georgia Football Department, where she assisted in ensuring NCAA compliance and coordinated the execution of game day events. She also has served as a recruiting relations coordinator for the University of Georgia Athletics Association, where she coordinated recruiting visits, events and camps while ensuring compliance and maintaining an online recruiting database of more than 5,000 recruits.
Jackson earned her Juris Doctor from the School of Law in 2014. While a student, she interned at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ASPiREtv and Morris Manning & Martin. She was named Miss University of Georgia 2013. Jackson earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies, magna cum laude, from Mercer University. She is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Athens, a member of the 2019 UGA Women's Staff Leadership Initiative and has completed UGA's Diversity and Inclusion Certificate program.
