Fabrica Legis implements positive change and growth in our community through discussion, debate, public comment, and ultimately the drafting of legislation to be sponsored and introduced in the legislative branches of government at the local, state, and federal level.

We strive to influence the law to reflect the highest standard of justice, human rights, dignity, compassion, empathy, equality, fairness, reparation, and authenticity.

We provide UGA Law students with practical, hands-on experience in the legislative development process. We practice various aspects of drafting legislation, including soliciting community input to learn about relevant issues, drafting legislation, and debating the drafted legislation.

We also provide a forum for discussion and debate on issues that affect the UGA community without intruding on the supportive environments that marginalized groups have created for themselves
