1. What did you do before attending law school?
I spent a year living and working in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a missions organization.

2. Why did you choose to attend the University of Georgia School of Law?
After I applied to 19 different law schools with virtually no direction, Georgia Law suddenly stood out to me as the best combination of location, value and prestige.

3. What inspired you to become a lawyer?
The intellectual rigor of the profession and its important impact upon our society at large as well as the lives of individuals.

4. What are your plans after graduation (if applicable)?
I am very excited to be joining the litigation group at Sutherland, Asbill, and Brennan in midtown Atlanta as well as clerking for U.S. District Court Chief Judge Lisa Godbey Wood (J.D.'90) in the Southern District of Georgia.

5. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
One thing I love about the legal profession is the diversity and breadth of opportunity. I am very happy to not know exactly where the next decade of my career will take me.

6. Who is your favorite Georgia Law professor? Why?
While I absolutely love all of the professors I have had at Georgia Law and think that the law school's faculty is one thing that truly sets it apart, I have particularly enjoyed Professors Coenen and White and love their ability to challenge and inspire students.

7. Thus far, what is your most memorable experience from your time at Georgia Law?
Getting married to a fellow law student! I met my husband in my first week at Georgia, and he's pretty memorable.

8. What are some activities/clubs/clinics you are involved in at the law school?
I have enjoyed working in the Family Violence Clinic as well as the Appellate Litigation Clinic.

9. What do you enjoy most about law school?
I have particularly enjoyed my experiences in the Advocacy program.

10. What has been your most rewarding experience through this program?
I suspect that my most rewarding experience will be arguing a real case before the Eleventh Circuit through the Appellate Litigation Clinic.

11. How has this experience affected your career plans?
My moot court experience allowed me to meet many federal and state judges and even opened up a clerkship opportunity.

12. What are your hobbies?
I love to run, read, cook and travel.

13. If you could share an afternoon with anyone, with whom would you choose to spend it?
I think I would most like to spend an afternoon with the late Justice Scalia, who is known for his love of debate and brilliance in the law.

14. Where is your favorite place to study? Why?
I study in different places depending on the type of studying. For reading cases, I go to the annex. For writing and editing, I go to the main campus library. And when outlining for exams, I study at Starbucks downtown.

15. What are two things you always have to have with you when you study?
A water bottle and bathroom access.

16. What do you like most about living in Athens?
Athens is a truly great place to live during law school. I currently live right downtown and I love its vibrancy as well as its famous selection of entertainment and restaurants. I also love living near a large university with endless access to the arts, athletics and academic resources.

17. What do you do to handle the stress of law school?
I like to keep law school at school and spend plenty of time out of the classroom and away from the library doing other things that I find to be enjoyable and fulfilling.

18. What is your favorite place on campus? Why?
North Campus on football game Saturdays.
