Biographical Information: 

Laura French is a founder and partner of the French Law Group, which formerly operated as Talley, French & Kendall. She also serves as a partner at HDF Designs – a locally owned startup that designs, manufactures and markets innovative sporting goods and equipment – and as a partner at the civil mediation services firm Clare, French & Benton.

Previously she was a special assistant attorney general for the state of Georgia representing the Department of Natural Resources. Her other legal experience includes being an associate at the law firm Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers and an assistant attorney general at Georgia’s Department of Law. In addition, French has taught a wills, trusts and estates course at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.

French earned her B.A. cum laude from Auburn University, her J.D. from Georgia State University and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama. While studying law at GSU, she was a member and associate student writing editor of the Georgia State University Law Review.
