Biographical Information: 

David L. Gunton is an attorney in Athens working with small businesses clients on corporate structure and contractual matters and startups in connection with angel and early-stage financial transactions. He also prepares intellectual property assignments and advises on securities law and regulatory compliance matters and represents individuals in commercial disputes.

Previously, Gunton served as the chief compliance officer and deputy general counsel for PointState Capital LP and as counsel and first-level officer with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He also served as an intern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

Gunton earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the College of William and Mary and his juris doctor degree cum laude from New York University.
