1. The Law Library is always closed when the university is closed.
2. During times when the university leaves the closing decision to individual units (e.g., on the weekend), the Law Library will generally follow the practice of the University Libraries, unless the emergency reason for closing is confined to the Law Library.
3. The highest ranking person on duty in the Law Library should contact his or her supervisor or the Director who will confirm with the Dean that the situation justifies closing.
4. Notice of the library closing will be posted on the library web site. An email should be sent to lawlist@listserv.uga.edu and lawstu@listserv.uga.edu.
