An Experienced and Diverse Class

• Members of the Class of 2014 include: a nurse; a grade school basketball coach; a stock broker; a former Miss Albany; an All-American Nominee (basketball); a professional musician; a camp counselor; members of the marching band, mock trial team, dance team, debate team, and the student government;  a news anchor; an eagle scout; a former special education director; an actor; varsity athletes in soccer, cross country, swimming and diving, crew, football (including our own Georgia Bulldogs), basketball,  and rugby; participants in water polo, marathons, and karate;  a second grade teacher; piano, guitar, and violin players; a cavalry officer, sergeant, and soldier in the U.S. Army, a former Officer in the U.S.  Navy, a Master Captain of the U.S. Merchant Marines;  and volunteers for national, state, and local political campaigns.

• Members of the Class of 2014 worked: in the United States Senate and House of Representatives; for the Environmental Protection Agency, National Security Agency, Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Environmental of Health & Safety, Internal Revenue Service, Census Bureau, Center for Study of the Presidency and Congress and various federal courts; for the Supreme Court of Zhejing Province, the International Justice Mission, the National Museum of Kenya,  Rutgers University, Emory University Hospital, Oconee County High School, and the Athens Banner Herald;  for private law firms, state governments, prosecutors, and public defenders; and for corporations including Hollister, Xerox, Kmart, BB&T, AFLAC, AIMCO, Sears, Georgia Public Broadcasting, Target, Home Depot, CVS, Merrill Lynch, the Children’s Law Center, State Farm, Kaiser Permanente, ERA Real Estate, Westlaw, Nike, Wachovia, USPS, Chick-fil-a, Starbucks,  and Coca Cola.

• Members of the Class of 2014 volunteered for: Americorps, Habitat for Humanity, Maimonides Cancer Center, Schneider’s Children’s Hospital, Hosea Feed the Hungry, Georgia Radio Reading Service, United States Holocaust Museum, Charlottesville Sexual Assault Resource Agency, Boys and Girls Club, St. Jude’s Christian Hospital, American Cancer Society, Red Cross, Low Country Orphan Relief, Meals on Wheels, Autism Speaks, Teach for America, UGA Hero, Relay for Life, Mote Marine Laboratory, and Palmetto Children’s Hospital,.
