In Memoriam: Professor Milner Ball

Georgia Law regrets to announce the passing of Milner S. Ball, the holder of the Caldwell Chair in Constitutional Law, who retired from the law school in 2007 after nearly 30 years of teaching and service.  He passed away on April 6. This respected scholar, teacher and mentor will be missed. Please visit the school's website to share a fond memory or condolence message with others in the law school community.


UGA hosts conference on careers in sustainability

Georgia Law is partnering with other departments on campus to present "Careers in Sustainability," a conference designed to educate students and practitioners about the growing field of "green collar" jobs. The event will take place April 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Larry Walker Room of Dean Rusk Hall and will focus on opportunities in business, law, architecture, design and real estate. Registration is requested.
