Antalis and Stell win England mock trial competition

Congratulations to second-year law students Christina M. Antalis and C. Elizabeth Stell for winning the 2011 J. Melvin England Mock Trial Competition. Also, congratulations to third-year students and competition finalists Samuel R. D'Entremont and Michael M. Hill as well as to all of the other participants who made this tournament such an outstanding success.

Professor Peter B. "Bo" Rutledge has been selected to serve on the board of directors for the Atlanta International Arbitration Society, which is a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote Atlanta as the destination of choice in the Americas for resolving international business differences.


UGA Homecoming Week features events for students, alumni and fans

The University of Georgia will celebrate Homecoming Week beginning Oct. 30 with various student activities and culminating Nov. 5 with the Georgia vs. New Mexico State football game. As part of the celebration, the School of Law will host reunions for graduating classes celebrating significant anniversaries on Nov. 4 and its 21st Annual Law School Homecoming BBQ on Nov. 5. Pre-registration for these events is required.
