UGA School of Law debuts semester in Washington program; hires instructor

Georgia Law will launch a new program this spring that will allow approximately 15 students to live and work in Washington, D.C., for a semester while earning course credit. Heading up the new offering will be Jessica L. Heywood, a 1997 Georgia Law graduate who previously worked in career services at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.

Smith Professor Peter A. Appel will deliver a presentation at the First Sustainable Companies Conference in Olso, Norway, which will take place on August 29-30, 2011. The conference is titled "Towards Sustainable Companies: Identifying New Avenues."
