Ringhand's research on the history of U.S. Supreme Court voting practices was mentioned in The Star-Ledger in regards to judicial activism and whether or not a conservative court or a liberal court is more likely to strike down federal laws and regulations.     Honors Week allows individuals at UGA to be acknowledged for achieving excellence. At Georgia Law, Cleveland Distinguished Chair of Legal Ethics and Professionalism Lonnie T. Brown Jr., Associate Professor Erica J. Hashimoto and Assistant Professor Christian Turner were recognized with the law school's three faculty awards that are given annually by its student body.
