Georgia Sea Grant launches new legal program; students Jones and Johnson serve as fellows

Georgia Sea Grant has partnered with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at UGA to create the new Georgia Sea Grant Legal Program where students at the School of Law will work with legal and policy experts to address environmental questions facing policymakers in coastal Georgia communities. Third-year law student Hunter L. Jones and second-year law student J. Amble Johnson will work as paid student legal fellows. They will collaborate with local policymakers, scientists and business communities and perform expert analyses to inform decision-making.
