Georgia Law wins National Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition

Georgia Law students recently captured first place in the Mercer University School of Law National Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition.  Third-year students Chandler L. Smith and Timothy F.J. "Tim" Dean comprised the winning team, while third-year classmates Nneka A. Egwuatu and Scott F. McAfee finished in the runner-up position. McAfee was named the tournament's best oralist.  This is the second year in a row that Georgia Law has won this competition.


Diane Amann delivers talk on the international criminal court

Woodruff Chair in International Law Diane Marie Amann presented "Children, Conflict, and the International Criminal Court" at a two-day symposium on "The International Criminal Court at 10," hosted by the Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute at Washington University School of Law during November. Her paper will appear in a forthcoming issue of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review.
