Callaway Chair of Law Emeritus Ronald L. Carlson's book Carlson on Evidence, 5th ed. (with M. Carlson) was cited by the Georgia Court of Appeals in the case State v. McPherson to decide that prior acts by the defendant could be used against him in the current case.
