Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Foundation Scholarship

The 2018-2019 scholarship application will be posted January 1, 2019. The deadline for submitting 2018-2019 scholarship applications is February 15, 2019.

The GAWL Foundation awards scholarships every spring to deserving women law students in Georgia. Proceeds raised by our Annual GAWL Foundation Auction, held in the spring of each year, fund the annual scholarship awards. GAWL Foundation Scholarships will be awarded to deserving second- and third- year women law students in Georgia.

GAWL Foundation Scholarships are intended to:

• Recognize women law students who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and an aptitude for leadership and philanthropy;
• Promote excellence in legal studies by providing assistance to deserving students;
• Advance the missions of both the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the GAWL Foundation by enhancing the welfare and development of women lawyers and supporting their interests, and by encouraging philanthropy by women lawyers in Georgia for the benefit of the greater community.
