J. Michael Luttig, executive vice president and general counsel of The Boeing Company and former U.S. Circuit Judge, to speak on business ethics
J. Michael Luttig, executive vice president and general counsel of The Boeing Company, will serve as the featured speaker of the Business Ethics Lecture Series.
Luttig is responsible for leading The Boeing Company Law Department, a role he assumed in 2006. Prior to that, he served as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit for 15 years. He also was a U.S. assistant attorney general and counselor to the attorney general at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and worked in private practice.
Luttig served as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren E. Burger. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and his law degree from the University of Virginia.
