The Criminal Defense Student Law School Scholarship

The Law Offices of Stephen Neyman, P.C. are happy to support student education with our annual Criminal Defense Student Law School Scholarship. Students who are attending an undergraduate, JD, LLB, or LLM program at a college, university, or law school in the United States are encouraged to apply.

Stephen Neyman is a criminal defense attorney with nearly thirty years' experience defending and prosecuting criminal cases. Attorney Neyman strongly adheres to the belief that the American criminal justice legal system works, and will continue to provide justice as long as prosecutors and defense attorneys alike ethically and genuinely honor their commitments as lawyers.

The Law Offices of Stephen Neyman has been in business since 1990. We have represented the accused throughout the country. We are exclusively a criminal defense law firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. We defend all criminal accusations.

Scholarship Award:

One (1) scholarship of $ 2,500 will be awarded annually.

Who:

Any current student in an undergraduate, JD, LLB, or LLM program is eligible for the Criminal Defense Student Law School Scholarship with a preference to individuals that are (a) from the Boston metropolitan area, or (b) received an undergraduate or graduate degree from a college or university in the Boston metropolitan area, or (c) are attending a law school in the Boston metropolitan area.

How:

Scholarship applicants are required to do the following:

1. Fill out a biographical information form.
2. Write an essay on access to legal services in the United States. This essay should focus on the need and affordability of legal services and propose ideas to help meet the demand of these services. The essay should be at least 1,000 words long.
3. Email your information form and essay to scholarship@neymanlaw.com.

Submission Deadline:

Your materials for the scholarship must be received by December 15, 2019 to be considered for the scholarship. The winner of the scholarship will be announced on January 15, 2020.
