China Summer Program - Apply & Contact



Additional application materials should be mailed to Dr. Laura Tate Kagel at the address below, and should include the following:

  • Check made out to the University of Georgia for $300 (application fee).
  • 2 legible copies of the information pages of your passport (valid through at least December 2015)
  • A current copy of your resume
  • Participation Agreement [Please also read State Dept. Travel Information for China.] (Includes information on accessibility and accomodations for individuals with disabilities.)
  • Disciplinary & Criminal Record
  • Letter from your law school dean certifying good standing (non-UGA applicants only)

Eligibility: The Georgia Law Summer Program in China accepts applications on a first come first served basis from law students who have completed at least one year of a U.S. law school, and are in good standing. Non-U.S. law students and legal professionals may inquire about taking the course on a not-for-credit basis.

2015 Enrollment: Total enrollment is capped at 25 for U.S. law students.
